AdSTM developed and repeatedly delivered a training course entitled “Fundamentals of Reactor Licensing” (FORL).for the US NRC staff. This six day course provides the USNRC staff with a description of the entire life cycle of the license, including initial licensing, operating reactor license maintenance, power uprate, license renewal and decommissioning. One of the main goals of the course is to show the students the importance of maintaining continuity in the licensing process and preserving the licensing basis of the plant.
